MOREMI GAME RESERVE

            SAFARI

3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS

(LONGER or  SHORTER as required )

Moremi Game Reserve is a pure wilderness area and one of Africa most scenic game reserves with rich, green vegetation,  palm trees, teeming with birdlife and a vast population of wild animals.

The area has many different habitats including floodplains, reed beds and permanent wetland, Mopane forest, dry savannah woodland and acacia woodland.

The lagoons and channels are part of the Okavango Delta System.

Moremi is famous for its beauty and diversity of wildlife which includes herds of elephant, buffalo, giraffe, many species of antelope including the red Lechwe, a flood plain specialist.

Lions are very frequently seen and the area is also known for its leopard, wild dog and cheetah sightings.

We depart from Sedia Riverside Hotel very early in the morning,  it takes about one and a half hours  to reach the reserve entrance and  another  two and a half hours to the campsite but that can take longer if we spend a lot of time looking at the game on the way, which can easily happen.

We spend our time exploring the reserve during game drives in the early morning and late afternoon, with sufficient time to relax, read and unwind in this wilderness area.
