Most of the National Parks and Game Reserves have basic (cold water) showers and flush toilets, though in the more remote parks there are no facilities whatsoever and toilets are dug in the ground with washing or showering undertaken from bowls or shower buckets.
MOSQUITOES and MALARIA
Malaria is mainly prevalent during the months of the rainy season (October to April )
Most people are pleasantly surprised at how few mosquitoes there are in the region during the dry months of winter. However it is advisable to consider a course of malaria prophylactics if you are going to visit this region.
In these remote wilderness areas, ablution facilities can leave a lot to be desired or even be non existent, hence the convenience of our short duration safaris with the comfort of Sedia Riverside Hotel close at hand to refresh and revitalize in readiness for your next safari.
